Lucky Luke - R&D - Test

Lucky Luke the RnD test, is a personal project that I undertook to challenge myself and explore my abilities in 3D modeling other areas of the pipeline besides animation. As a solo animator working on a tight deadline with no budget, I knew that I wouldn’t be able to achieve the same level of quality as a team of specialists. However, I’m proud of what I was able to accomplish and believe that the results speak for themselves.

Using a range of tools including Blender, Maya, and Unreal Engine, I was able to create a 3D representation of Lucky Luke that is close to the original concept and visually appealing. While it may not be perfect, I believe that the Lucky Luke Test is a testament to my dedication, technical skills, and creative vision.

At KZanim, we’re committed to delivering even higher-quality results for our clients. Although the Lucky Luke test was completed by a single animator, KZanim has a network of skilled freelancers that we work with to guarantee that every project benefits from the highest level of creativity and technical proficiency. Our team is deeply passionate about filmmaking and is always pushing the limits of animation to make sure your project is truly exceptional.

Whether you’re aiming to bring your story to life or just seeking to produce captivating animated content, KZanim is ready to take on the challenge.
Let’s discuss your project and see how we can collaborate to bring your vision to life. We’re confident that our expertise, track record, and commitment to quality make us the perfect partner for your animation needs.

A quick (very rough) animation blocking to test the complete pipeline.
